About Me

Hi there! I'm Nichole. I'm in my late 30s, and I have an affinity for all the crafty things! I'm a married, stay-at-home mom to two wild girls and a furry jerk cat named Elly. I enjoy reading, blogging, sci-fi, drawing, video games, knitting, crochet, painting, and rearranging furniture at inopportune times. I'm also learning photography, which is amazing and challenging.

I have a deep and abiding love-hate relationship with glitter. You never truly understand how nefarious it is until you have daughters. My dryer makes scary noises thanks to these two adorable glitter bombs.

I grew up in the San Joaquin Valley, but have lived in the Monterey Bay area since I was I guess I can say I'm a local now. I love the chilly, foggy weather of the coast...especially when compared to the 100+ degree summers of the valley. I don't think I could ever move away from here.

I am so glad you are here, following along on my craft adventures.

June 2019 Indie Pickup | Eventide Rose Gold Bangle

It is Polish Pickup/Indie Pickup time again! As a "maker", it is my favorite time because I finally get to reveal what I have been plotting in the shadows! June's prompt is "Weather" and I chose a beautiful stormy sunset picture and a wonderfully minimalist setting. I can't wait to wax ecstatic about it!

The Indie Pickup | Rainbow Reader Pendants

I have been working diligently on a fabulous new item for May 2019's Indie Pickup. It is an off-shoot of the practically-world-famous Polish Pickup, and it is a wonderful themed collaborative that seems to spark creativity every month. May's theme is 1980s, and of course I had to choose something loud from my childhood. I picked Reading Rainbow, and I am so glad I did.
