Quickie Crochet Purse

I got a new phone (I'm writing this post from said phone) and it doesn't fit in my pocket anymore. I needed a small bag for chapstick and new phone...So I made one!

It was pretty easy. I used Knit Picks Brava and an I hook and did some mystery number of stitches until it looked like the right size. I changed colors for the first time in crochet too, which was neat. I even made a flower to close the top.

I'll let you know if I like it.

*edit: I definitely liked it. With my phone/chapstick/blotting papers in there, it was heavy enough to sit in just the right spot on my hip. And the bag search lady said it was cute! Win Win! The only drawback is that it stretched waaaay out. Live and learn, right?

June 2019 Indie Pickup | Eventide Rose Gold Bangle

It is Polish Pickup/Indie Pickup time again! As a "maker", it is my favorite time because I finally get to reveal what I have been plotting in the shadows! June's prompt is "Weather" and I chose a beautiful stormy sunset picture and a wonderfully minimalist setting. I can't wait to wax ecstatic about it!

The Indie Pickup | Rainbow Reader Pendants

I have been working diligently on a fabulous new item for May 2019's Indie Pickup. It is an off-shoot of the practically-world-famous Polish Pickup, and it is a wonderful themed collaborative that seems to spark creativity every month. May's theme is 1980s, and of course I had to choose something loud from my childhood. I picked Reading Rainbow, and I am so glad I did.
