The Indie Pickup | Rainbow Reader Pendants

I have been working diligently on a fabulous new item for May 2019's Indie Pickup. It is an off-shoot of the practically-world-famous Polish Pickup, and it is a wonderful themed collaborative that seems to spark creativity every month. May's theme is 1980s, and of course I had to choose something loud from my childhood. I picked Reading Rainbow, and I am so glad I did.

The Crafty Taco Rainbow Reader Pendants

I think these might be my favorite things that I have made for The Indie Pickup. I love the brightness and the chaos. They seem to have a life of their own, and it is really the most delightful thing. They feel very art to me. I want to make a thousand of them...but for now I will start with 20.
  • Available May 3, 2019 at 11am eastern
  • https://polishpickup.com/
  • 65 available
  • 10 x 50mm pendants with 20in sterling silver plate chain
  • each one is individually made; no two are alike

They are so much fun to make, and they make a healthy mess in the process. Nothing fun is ever tidy.

And when they are laid all together, it reminds me of a stained glass window in the very best way.

And as a fun bonus, there will be a smaller size available right after the sale! But I will post about that later on!

Life of the Party Pendant | Polish Pickup June 2020

I know, I know.  It has been a while since I have updated this blog. I got a wee bit busy, and a wee bit forgetful. But I have still been working and crafting and creating. I have even been branching out and working with other groups and making customs.
